The Water Hole at Venezia Park
John Venezia Community Park is located at the intersection of Briargate Parkway and Union Blvd and will also feature a community splash pad area.
Located in northeast Colorado Springs at John Venezia Community Park
- Opening day for 2023 season: Saturday, May 26, weather pending
- Daily hours of operation: 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Please note, sessions are 10 a.m.-noon, 12:30-2:30 p.m., 3-4:30 p.m. and 5-6 p.m.
Julia Penrose Fountain
The Julia Penrose Fountain is located at America the Beautiful Park, just east of I-25, between Cimarron Street and Colorado Avenue. The 4 story looped sculpture, which can be seen from the highway, hosts wading pools filled with water from the sculpture's raining fountains.
Located downtown in America the Beautiful Park on Cimino Drive, directly across from the new Park Union Pedestrian Bridge

Uncle Wilber Fountain
Located downtown in Acacia Park at the corner of Tejon and Bijou streets 80903
- Opening day for 2023 season: Saturday, May 26, weather pending
- Daily hours of operation:10am -6 p.m.
Please note, fountain sessions are 12-2 p.m., 2:30-4:30 p.m., and 5-6 p.m. Also, be aware that there is construction in Acacia Park this summer adjacent to Uncle Wilber Fountain as crews build a new play area. The existing playground equipment has been removed. The new play area is expected to reopen this fall.
Aga Park Splash Pad
415 W Alabama Ave, Fountain, CO 80817
Aga Park is located on the south end of Colorado Springs in the city of Fountain, on North El Paso Street. The splash pad opened in 2009 and features areas for toddlers, teens, and families, including aqua jumpers, frog, seahorse and elephant cannons, whale spray, dumping coconuts, water tunnel, tidal buckets, and more!
Deerfield Hills Spray Ground
The Deerfield Hills Community Center and Spray Ground is located just east of South Academy Blvd, between Hancock and Drennan. This water playground features 16 different water features with more than 50 different spray nozzles, including a water wall, foaming and ground geysers, a soak station, and more.
- Located adjacent to the Deerfield Hills Community Center in southeast Colorado Springs.
- Opening day for 2023 season: Wednesday, June 1, weather pending
- Daily hours of operation: 10:00 a.m.-5 p.m. on Wednesdays; 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. every other day
- Please note, spray ground sessions are 10-11 a.m., 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 1-2 p.m.; 2:30-3:30 p.m.; and 4-5 p.m. (there is no 10 a.m. session on Wednesday)
The spray ground is open July 4 and Labor Day. - The spray ground includes 16 different water spray features containing over 50 individual spray nozzles and various features including Bell Trios, Foaming Geysers, Ground Geysers, Soak Stations, Water Jellys, Water Quests, Water Trios and a Water Wall!
