The Mustang Ambassador Program (MAP) partners trained mustangs

with Pike’s Peak regional youth to provide a navigational tool (a map)

for their lives and help them learn valuable self-leadership skills for ongoing success.

In addition to equitation skills, youth learn foundational principles of personal leadership throughout the program. They learn and apply skills including self-management (responsibility), communication, problem solving, relationships and resilience.

They learn about the care of horses (responsibility); they learn how communication with horses and peers includes respect and empathy which is necessary to building healthy relationships in and outside of the arena. They also learn about problem solving and resilience which enable them to gain an understanding how to work through issues and maintain a positive can-do attitude while doing so.

Come join us and GROW your skills!

NOT-FOR-PROFIT The Mustang Ambassador Program is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We received our non-profit status in early 2015 and are excited for this new adventure!

This organization is amazing! My daughter went to the Equine Leadership Program camp, this will absolutely be a tradition every summer for her. She learned and grew so much! The staff is great and knowledgeable. I can’t recommend them enough.

This program is an absolute must for any horse loving kid. The combination of leadership skills, independence and horsemanship is parallel to no program I’ve ever seen. My 13 year old daughter grew as a rider and most importantly as a person and leader this week. If you have the opportunity to provide your child with this experience, do! You will not be disappointed with your choice!

My daughter was a complete novice with horses. She loves animals and was interested in trying something new.  She attended the Equine Leadership Camp.  She came home each day tired, dirty, and elated. It was a fantastic experience that challenged her to face her fears and work past them. She was excited each night to tell us about her day and up before her alarm each morning in anticipation of returning. I am so pleased with how much she learned in one short week. She can't wait to go back to camp next summer.  After watching the end of week show, her little sister wants to join her.
