The Self Defense Academy COS is in beautiful Downtown Colorado Springs, with free parking in the lot and on the street, within The Next Us co-working space. Our adult program has been running since 2020 and our pre-launch kids program for ages 3-15 begins now. The full youth program will be official at the end of June 2023. We are a program that does not participate in competitions, when competing there are rules that don't apply in a real life situation and we want you to develop habits that will support you for life including; falls, verbalization, prevention, character building, positive community, fun. The physical learning aspects are helping you develop reactions against harmful falls, pushes, strikes, chokes, mounts, headlocks, and weapon interactions.
