The SLCC summer program is one of the most exciting times of the year, offering a fun and structured experience for school-aged children. Kids enjoy water days, pool days, field trips, games, crafts, and movie days, all designed to keep them active and engaged.
Each week during the summer features a theme including favorites like:
- Summer Kick Off / Beach Party ~ May 26th - May 29th
- Egypt ~ June 1st - 5th
- VBS - Shining a light on who Jesus really is. ~ June 8th - June 12th
- Cars (Pikes Peak Hill Climb) ~ June 15th - June 19th
- Dinosaurs ~ June 22 - June 26th
- American History ~ June 29th - July 3rd
- Boomtown ~ July 6th - July 10th
- Folklore / Cryptids ~ July 13th - July 17th
- Space ~ July 20th - July 24th
- Olympic Week ~ July 27th - July 31st
- Movies ~ August 3rd - August 7th
- Spectacular Ultra Mega Marvelous Extra Recap (S.U.M.M.E.R.) ~ August 10th & August 11th
These themed experiences bring creativity and learning together, giving kids something to look forward to every single week.
A highlight of the program is Hope Rock Ranch in Florissant, where children can participate in overnight Chrisitan camps that build confidence, independence and lasting memories in a fun, faith-filled environment.
We are planning to do 3 overnight stays with our school-age kids at Hope Rock Ranch this summer to learn about Jesus!
