Wow! Macaroni Kid came into 2023 on 🔥🔥 Fire and its only February!
I am so excited! We are growing and it is thanks to you! Most of you know I took over this site in June of 2021 (COVID) and really struggled to get Macaroni Kid ~ Colorado Springs out there and into the community once I started. It is still a struggle, but I am hoping that we are starting to get on people's radars. I have found that there is a huge disconnect within the community and local businesses and I am trying to bridge that gap. I want you to think of Macaroni Kid as your "go to" for everything. Not just the amazing event calendar. I am currently working on building my directory up to be the biggest/best resource for families. I find that there is a break down for resources in the "more serious nature" like, finding counseling, looking for assistance to help pay bills, or looking for resources for children on the spectrum. I am doing my best to find these for you so you have everything you need right at your fingertips! With that being said, I am putting together (what I hope will be) a HUGE event on May 6th at the UCHealth Park and home to the Rocky Mountain Vibes. This event is a hands on/Interactive Resource Expo. Every booth will offer something fun and hands on for the kiddos' so YOU can get the information you need. There will be bounce houses, slides, a petting zoo, and activities every where you look to "Find your Family Fun!" There will be presentations going on from local Martial Art studios, as well as gymnastic and dances. We will have fun music, giveaways and so much entertainment! If you are a small business or you know of one that would be perfect for this event, please reach out to me and them. This event is all about YOU and for YOU. I want you to use Macaroni Kid for EVERYTHING. Need a pediatric dentist? Look on the Directory. Need playdoh/slime recipes? Look in articles. Need help paying bills this month? Check out our resources in the directory. I want to build Macaroni Kid ~ Colorado Springs to be everything you need! This is Your Site, tell me what you need, and what you need or looking for! I am here for you and your family! This event is for just that! Building the bridge between the community and the resources out there that are needed!! Please come out, spend the day with us on May 6th from 10-3 and bring your friends and family! It is going to be Amazing!!

Did you know that each site of Macaroni Kid is independently owned/operated and published usually by a local mom. (like me) So trust me when I say that I am in support of small businesses in and around Colorado Springs (my territory is actually from Palmer Lake to Pueblo) I need your help spreading the word about Macaroni Kid to both friends/family and to the local businesses. We all need help and to support each other however we can! Even simple things like going to Social Media and giving us a Like and Follow or doing simple Social Media Swaps can help break the "insights and algorithms" to put us into the people that need us!
